In May Gorath will do a couple of dates in the United
Kingdom
for the very first time. It could be a Calais (FR) date will take
place
beforehand.

- New album MXCII for 2009
Gorath have booked the Shumcot Studio in order to
record the
successor for “Misotheism”. The band's fourth album
will be entitled
“MXCII” and will contain seven deadly revelations. At
this moment
it's undecided which label would host the upcoming release.

Misotheism news
Eisenwald Tonschmiede have set the release date for
“Misotheism” for
the first part of 2009. Besides a red/brown colour 12” the
first copies will
hold a limited special edition. Also note the artwork will be slightly
different.
Any labels interested in releasing “The Fourth Era”
on LP should get in touch.

- Charleroi show cancelled Right
before we had to get on stage the show got cancelled.
An armed North African claimed the show most stop or "everyone
would be shot". The police couldn't secure safety for
the rest of
the evening and best thing the organizer could do, was canceling
our performance and those of Innerfire and headliner Hate. Hail
to those special there for Gorath and hail to organizer Bart from
Mystica for making the right decision during this surrealistic evening.
Upcoming
live shows We
have just finished the last set of shows for this year. Next up
is a Dutch
show in the Amsterdam area (March 2009). The time in between the
upcoming
record will be finished and no other shows will be booked.
We are looking for two other English dates on May 21 and 22 to complete
a small
UK tour with Fen. Anyone
who can help us: get in touch.

- New bass player D.
Grondelaers joins Gorath on bass. The remaining shows for 2008 will
be
performed as a three piece band. Next year Gorath is setting up
a small UK tour
and several other shows are in progress. Although most time will
be spend in
writing a successor for "Misotheism" and finding a new
label host. The biggest
part of the new album is already finished, so is the lyrical concept.
Next year
also Eisenwald Tonschmiede will release "Misotheism" on
colored 12" vinyl.

- Hasselt show cancelled Due
to medical reasons unforeseen Gorath have to cancel their
performance in Hasselt October 4. A serious wrist issue prevents
Deleener
from hitting the skins this time. We feel sorry for not being able
to play in
our home town. This is beyond our control. Good luck to Natan and
all
other bands! Make this night one to remember!

- Report Irish tour
We've returned from doing two dates in Ireland last
Thursday and
Friday. Together with the local madmen of Criminal Jammage,
Nocturnal Holocaust and Days of Night Armageddon was unleashed
upon the crowds of Cork and Dublin. The most Western back of
beyond of our continent was never the same anymore,...
Right before we took off to Ireland guitarist Devenster injured
his
finger that bad he was unable to play a whole week. Zahrim took
over
the spot solely and as a tree piece band we easily managed to pull
it off.
