repertoire van
"The Mellvids"
Wij spelen niet alleen de "klassiekers" zoals de onvermijdelijke Glenn Miller, Count Basie, of anderen, maar hebben ook vrij veel werk "van eigen bodem" op het repertoire staan. Een uitstekend voorbeeld is Bert Paige, alias Albert Lepage, rasechte Gentenaar, lid van de legendarische "Ramblers", die bewezen heeft even swingende nummers als de "groten der aarde" te kunnen schrijven !
Sinds eind 2000 zingt Chantal Himbrecht bij The Mellvids, en daarom hebben we ook een aantal standard jazz zangnummers in ons repertoire opgenomen (zie einde van de lijst).
Een aantal nummers uit ons repertoire is opgenomen op één van de twee demo- en promotie-CD's van de Mellvids. Sommige fragmenten van deze opnames zijn als mp3 file over te halen vanop de demo-CD bladzijde).
