Concert calendar
Our big band performs at many different festivities and occasions, public and private (receptions, marriages, company events, etc.), in concert halls, on market places, and other public locations outdoors. We are very flexible and are open to all requests and suggestions of organizers. There is only one restriction : we play "stationary" and do not perform any parades. The music which we bring generally invites for dancing : swing has of course a prominent place on our playlists, but they also contain latin-american (mambo, cha-cha-cha), ballads and even rock music pieces. Again 3 times a performance on the "Vrijdagmarkt". The series of concerts on Sunday morning are called "Artevelde"-concerts after Jacob Van Artevelde, famous politician of Gent in the late Middle ages, who has his (recently restored) statue on the "Vrijdagmarkt". Gent is also alternatively called "City of Artevelde". |

Performance on the wonderfully restored kiosk of the "Kouter" market in Gent. Every Sunday morning you can enjoy a very big but very cosy flower market. From May to October visitors to the market enjoy a concert, normally given by a Gent harmony orchestra but from time to time also by a band like ours. |

Sunday August 1 |
Show at the "Eeklose Feesten" in the city of Eeklo, some 20km northwest of Gent. Eeklo is also a nice provincial town to visit; it claims that Charles V was born there, and not in Gent. The concert we gave there was for us the musical top of the year, playing on a huge podium with a huge professional sound installation (to give an example : our drummer used 8 microphones). This is the place where the sound people were so kind to registrate the show; the records were used later on to realize our demo CD. |

Performance during "Sint-Bernardus" festivities in Nieuwpoort, at the Belgian coast. Lots of music groups, lots of people and a very fine atmosphere ! |

We supported the athletes of the "Emperor Charles" marathon with our music at the km. 40 post. Amazingly most of them still were able to enjoy the music ! |
